Mueed Mehmood’s story is one of ambition, resilience, and a desire to stay ahead in the fast-evolving tech landscape. Born in Islamabad and raised in Faisalabad after his father, a retired Flight Lieutenant from the Pakistan Air Force, settled there, Mueed pursued his early education with dedication. After completing his matriculation and intermediate studies at Punjab Group of Colleges, he enrolled in the BS Information Technology program at Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF).
During his third year of university, he sought an online program to expand his skill set beyond the classroom. That’s when he discovered the Institute of Emerging Careers (IEC) and enrolled in the Python Development Bootcamp.
Managing the bootcamp alongside university commitments wasn’t an easy feat, but his determination carried him through. He successfully completed the program and became part of the growing IEC alumni network. Reflecting on his experience, he shared that the friendly and approachable instructors made learning enjoyable, and the professional development sessions—focused on resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and interview preparation—were immensely helpful.
Perhaps the most impactful part of his journey was our commitment to job placement. With support, he gained confidence in his abilities and is now well-equipped to launch a successful career in Python development.
Mueed’s journey is an inspiring reminder of what dedication and hard work can achieve. By taking the initiative to enhance his skills while pursuing his degree, he has set himself on a path to thrive in the tech world.
