Meet Hareem Farooq, a data enthusiast and graduate of IEC’s Data Analytics Cohort-12. With a passion for technology and a heart dedicated to human well-being, Hareem’s journey is an inspiring tale of resilience, learning, and personal growth.
Growing up in Lahore, Hareem’s love for problem-solving and finding patterns led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Her father, an orphan from the age of 11, worked tirelessly to ensure his children had access to education. This upbringing shaped her determination and values, propelling her to excel academically and personally.
While searching for ways to enhance her skills, she discovered IEC and was drawn to our promise of providing practical training and a comprehensive curriculum. During the program, she gained expertise in Python, MySQL, Power BI, and data analysis, coupled with improved communication skills. These lessons helped her build confidence in applying these tools to real-world challenges.
Hareem’s journey didn’t just stop at acquiring technical skills. The supportive community at IEC, including its academic coordinators and job placement team, continues to guide her as she navigates the professional world. Currently, she is seeking internships and exploring freelancing opportunities, laying the foundation for a successful career in data analytics.

She is a digital marketing and content writing expert with over 5 years of experience, dedicated to driving impactful results and crafting innovative strategies. As the Acquisition Lead at IEC, she oversees the application process, ensuring a seamless experience for aspiring students.
